Subject: Intruder Detection Displays Incorrect Station Address
Date: November 1, 1990
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
PROBLEM: When using an IBM Token-Ring 4 Mbit or 16/4 Mbit network
adapter with the original Token-Ring driver in NetWare 286
v2.15c, the intruder detection feature doesn't report the
node address correctly. It reports the node address as a
duplication of the high order byte of a word.
SOLUTION: Install the new Token-Ring drivers that are in TRN050.ZIP on
NetWire.
